Childrens Fitness
Fitness Consultant, Julie O’Hagan, has been involved in childrens’ fitness since qualifying as a PE teacher in 1996. For the last 10 yrs Julie has been coaching sports teams, athletics and swimming teams and more recently sports development, of children between the ages of 7 and 18yrs.
Fitness amongst the youth is becoming more of a problem and links with lack of exercise and health issues such as diabetes and obesity is becoming more commonplace in our society.
FitnessMatters.ie have a service specifically designed for children to engage in fitness, whilst at the same time developing their knowledge about food and nutrition, health and more importantly, keeping it fun. This service is particularly important to teach children a lifestyle change they can teach others and take on into adulthood.
Julie has a superb way of communicating and connecting with the youth of today and makes fitness fun, exciting, challenging and successful.

All children under the age of 18yrs must have written parental consent to sign up for the fitness services, and children under e age of 16yrs, must attend the Initial Consultation with their parents/guardians.
Sessions can be booked on the Personal Training basis, or the Buddy Training service.
